Need help gaining mass

I'm eating heavy, averaging around 400-500 calories over maintenance every day. This includes taking in 1 scoop of Serious Mass post-workout 4x a week. So far, without any cardio, I have done nothing but lower my bf% and gained little muscle. While my lifts have been going up, I'm seeing little to no difference in muscle growth, and my weight is the same it has been 4 weeks ago. Bf% has gone from about 14% to about 11%.

Can anyone explain why I'm not making the gains I want? Isn't bulking supposed to put on bodyfat?

As you workout, your body is burning fat for energy. While you might be eating more than you need to in order to maintain your weight, the energy spent lifting (and whatever else you might do) is still more than the caloric intake your body is getting. This also means that most of the calories you take in are going into muscle recovery and energy for lifting, as opposed to being stored as fat.

you need to take 5g of creatine to get that extra bulk and water mass. but after your done with your cycle stay off of it for a bit, too much will damage your kidneys and weight should go up.
