i want to be a programmer. 2 months until i get my bachelors

fuck a fit job. i run 7 days a week (35+ miles a week) and lift 5 days a week.

I work as a firefighter/Paramedic in a rural county near me but I'm interested in going back to school for engineering.

I'm hoping to get into mechanical or electrical engineering.

I'm already working my dream job. I'm a post-doctoral fellow at a research institution in my city. I'm on six figures two years out of university, been paying off my undergrad slowly but surely and the nature of my work means there's always something going on. Seven years of studying are finally paying off. I couldn't be happier

i am softwaredeveloper and i hate it. i was a gamer once, but sitting in front of the pc every fucking day made me lose any interest in all it fields.
developing/repairing some random shit you will never ever see again gives you not a singe statisfaction.

i would like to be a simple farmer. self-sufficient. not that big farm shit, very small, no heavy machines, no specification in a single part of farming. waking up with the sunrise.

I now work at an observatory.

The work is pretty interesting, but the levels of focus required for 8 hours a day are exhausting. Maybe I'll move into management. Also sitting at a desk all day feels a bit shit. I always take a walk around the hill during my lunch breaks.

I work from home so I just wear a tshirt and swim shorts every day.

I'm starting to turn it around with working out and dieting though.
The only thing that gives me any kind of joy (not really joy, it just stops me feeling depressed for a bit) is drinking tons of coke and eating lots of crisps.

I've stopped last week though. I've been dieting properly and working out 5-6 times a week.

i already did, 2 weeks farming in 2014, 4 weeks are planned in 2017 and 9 Month in 2018
also i consumed tons of books/videos about (alternative) farming, people who dropped out, people who life without money since years, etc.

Environmental advisor for a manufacturing plant in my countries biggest industry. Work is pretty chill, get to walk around site and farms a lot inspecting shit. Also on the side part of our sites emergency responders so am going through firefighter training and first aid all covered by the company. Perfect as a first job out of university
