Been Farming/Working Physical labor jobs in the winters, just getting into lifting. Picked up SS week ago, almost finished, gonna follow basic program until comfy with moments.

Waiting on Power rack/Barbell set and extras to arrive (Hour and half away from nearest gym, home gym easiest option with work.)

I'm 18 6' tall and probably like 150-160 lbs (don't own a scale). I've decided that I'm going to start going to the gym and doing SS. I'm reading that I should be eat a fuck ton of food but I'm also worried about becoming a fatty after eating like a pig for a few months. Would 3500-4000 calories/day be a good bulk for me? On an intellectual level, I can break down the process of my "journey". I lift heavy around six times a week for around 3 hours a day. I eat until I lay in bed feeling sick as a mofo. Rinse and repeat for around nine months, and you get where I'm at. Albeit, it may come down to - and I'm not a huge proponent of this - genetics. You may not be able to put on the pounds that I did, and I'm sure there are people out there who could put a lot more on than me. Just gotta see what you got and keep going, breh.

Lean bulking will not give you the same results as a proper bulking & then cutting plan. You can only gain strength properly when your body has the reserves for it. Yes - you will gain *some* muscle when lean bulking. But its nowhere as much as just eating big.

Never cut to be ultra-dyel like this motherfucker. Bulk until you're at a good level and then cut.
