those muscles are probably just underdeveloped. keep training to make them stronger so there will be no more pain. Could be something else though

Me too, but just in one leg.
I squatted normally until this pain appeared. Stopped for 1 month, but it was still there.
Dropped squats and I now just do leg extensions, leg press, leg curls. Are this good substitutes? Gf was mirin my glutes, I hope I can still get big. Lifting for aesthetics btw

I mostly cleared up this pain by warming up with hip adductor machine before squats and doing heavy hip adductor work at the end of my workout with progressive overload. The muscles were probably just weak.

Cool, I do deadlifts but on "back day".
I don't think I really wanna go back to squats. I kept asking different PTs to check my form because it put too much stress on my lumbar spine but they were all saying my execution was perfect.
