So i fucked up.
My form went to shit on the last rep of my deadlift and i felt a "twinge" in my lower back when i lowered the weight. It wen't stiff, now it hurts in my lower back if i push my hips forwards.
What can i do to lower recovery time, any tips?
Sharp pain or dull, sore pain?

Sharp pain, but i've pulled my back before at work lifting stuff and it took a few days to recover. feels like the same, just want to back training as soon as possible.

came here because of a similar problem. lower back feels really sore, and decompressing is very painful.
>am i still gonna make it?

I had the same problem and I went to the chiropractor 3 times. Ever since then I'm back to doing deadlifts with improper form just like you

ice and compression.
welcome to snap city bitch.
You really need to go to a physio ASAP
Unlikely to be spinal - probably a muscle strain in your lumbar.
but don't fuck around - see a physio!!!
Interchange ice and heatpacks, ibuprofen till then. Obviously don't like...
...see a physio.

Also if the physio is good they will likely ID muscle imbalances and you will realise you fell for the 'squats and deads are all you need' meme

Shoo shoo, manlet. Starting Centaur forums are that way --->
I have had lower back pain before after deadlifts. I was just not sure if it was doms or just bad form, but it went away.

I get lower back "pain" every time after I DL but I know it's just doms
> Deadlifts are perfectly safe bro kek he doesn't even 3pl8 haha
And this is why I will never deadlift. I'm old enough to have suffered long-term damage and know what fucking up your back will bring. Fuck that shit, you idiots go ruin your backs if you want to, I'll stick to more natural movements.

herniated disc lumbar discs
Just don't lift heavy shit that involves your back for a week, then resume with easy lifts and work your way back up to where you were, over like a month or two depending on how bad you fucked up and the rate of recovery.
SLEEP A FUCKTON
When doing those ez recovery lifts, perfect form is necessary, sharp pain is bad, soreness is OK, discomfort is OK. BUT SHARP PAIN IS BAD. USE PERFECT FORM
Google herniated discs exercises, there are abs, especially oblique exercises that help. Also, google anterior pelvic tilt, "diagnose yourself" like you did for your autism and fix that shit with abs, stretches and shit. Google is your friend again.
Peace and best of luck to you. AND FIX YOUR FUCKING FORM
I did that and had to rest in bed for a week.
I couldn't sleep the first night I was in so much pain. All okay now though.
