I sometimes get overwhelmed of the simple fact that I realize how quickly the last few weeks, even months have gone away and how volatile life is. I think about how quickly the next 20 years will be over, how my life will be flown away eventually and everyone I love goes away. I can barely stand the feeling of time flowing away.

Do you guys think a psychiatrist could help me fix this?
>>
>>38860943
No its just life, a psychiatrist cannot turn back time
>>
>>38860969
b-but.. how can I keep being happy again? whenever I have a good time, I get even sadder the time afterwards
i sometimes just wish i was dumb as a potato, so i wouldn't give as much of a fuck and just live my life.
>>
>>38860262
i never cry, im not sure if i could if my granny or even parents died. when i was young i cried quite often and always felt like a weak faggot for it, i guess that hardened my emotions. i dont feel any build-up sadness or anything, i just never get really sad. maybe if my life stops going so great ill be able to feel sadness, for now i just enjoy feeling good most of the time.

I'm glad that ryouma isn't the typical shoujo male lead who doesn't give a fuck about his partner. It's refreshing to see someone as Chad as ryouma actually cares that much about izumi, even after getting over how he's gay.
But I do dislike how izumi is portrayed as a incompetent faggot. It basically made him into a trophy husband.
There should be more serious trap anime desu.

Interstellar I choked up during.

One scene that always gets me is the Speed Racer movie (the one made in the 2000's with Emile Hirsch or whatever his name is) during the scene with the final race and Speed is about to win and it goes through the montage of previous scenes. Then followed by the scenes with Racer X. The scene is just so beautiful that someone, even fictional, is about to achieve the unachievable that it really chokes me up. Sounds silly typing it out but I think some of you may relate to me with the scene.

I noticed a lot of scenes in movies that make me choke up aren't just sad ones, but scenes that are just so beautiful in the character development that it feels like it fills me up with emotion and literally almost overflows through tears.

Just remembered, Good Will Hunting - "It's not your fault".

Any complaint, nagging or show of weakness is the same as giving the go ahead for her to look for someone else or cheat behind your back.
She wants a rock, an unchanging immovabe object not able to be affected by her mood swings and emotional fluctuations, if you're affected by her shit she'll treat you like shit until she can't respect you enough to keep you around. Doesn't mean you have to hold it, if she is the cause make your boundaies known and that she is free to leave at anytime, if you can't deal with her leaving you can't keep her.

My life was pretty physically and emotionally abusive before I turned 24.

I only kind of get emotional to fictional stuff or shit that really one would think doesn't affect me that much.

I don't know why, I'm presumably autistic (not self diagnosed) and I don't want to let emotions take over, I don't want to be ruled by them in front of others, I tend to cry alone, it's a weakness even though others act like its normal, it's not, because once you cry because of x, why not cry at z and y as well. The worst part about it all is that I can't enjoy movies anymore because I know my time is on earth is limited and that I need to do something else but in the end I usually waste my time doing fuck all(admittedly I can't really enjoy movies because I don't have a source for new ones and I don't want to watch my favorites all the time)

>I noticed a lot of scenes in movies that make me choke up aren't just sad ones, but scenes that are just so beautiful in the character development that it feels like it fills me up with emotion and literally almost overflows through tears.

Every time I watch a suicide scene in a movie, I cry because my mother took her life. Every time I watch a movie that makes fun of dementia and Parkinson's, I cry because that took my fathers life. Feels awful man.

I can relate. All my grandparents have died during my life time and I never felt even a moment of sadness. I thought "maybe we just weren't that close" but my sisters cried like bitches each time and they spent the same amount of time with them I did so maybe it's just me.

Your uncle loved you anon. That happy look in his eye was the culmination of pride he felt for you from your first steps till that moment. It wasn't that particular girl, just the fact that you had grown up and have infinite potential.

Your uncle is gone but he's not dead, he lives inside of you. All of his lessons all of his love still exists in all of your family members. Rise up and resurrect your uncle through your actions and fulfilling his will and hopes.

Would you uncle have higher his mother and helped her through this? Would he have hugged and helped you? So it's time you arise and act on his legacy. You hug your grandma and help her.

You ask your dad about the grave and you go mourn together. Everyone is upset but releasing tears decreases stress and has a cathartic experience. This decreases cortisol increases oxytocin with closeness and hugs and so guess what you'll be helping the overall health of your entire family while forging stronger bonds in the fire of your uncle's will and legacy.

We joke about memes on this site but the words he left you his ideas his lessons those are his lessons that you will pass on just like genes. He may be gone but in the future your children will learn of him his memes will live and echo as long as you hold that torch upright.

You can do this anon, everyone believes in you

This scene fucks me up every single time. It's not even relatable (my parents aren't dicks, I'm not a father, I'm not Korean), but I literally lose my tear ducks to this movie.

Other movies that have made me cry/tear up:
>The Grey
>The Revenant
>Southpaw

I heard The Wrestler is sad too. Might watch that this weekend with a bowl of ice cream then an hero.

I had to put my dog down today. I've had him 15 years now. I remember when I was in middle school I would come home and fucking bawl my eyes out because I was made fun of so much and he would just walk up and sit his head in my lap and look up at me. He's been fading for a while but I still can't believe he's fucking gone /fit/

And I'm sitting here still tearing up like a bitch but I have to man up because one of my best friend's dads is in the hospital and could pass any day and I need to be there for him. I'm a fucking wreck right now
