So it's settled then. Oatmeal and its complex carbohydrates is the GOAT breakfast. What's wrong, still attached to your saturated-fat laden, artery-clogging bacon and eggs? Or maybe you're messing up your kidneys by pointlessly having chicken and protein-shakes for breakfast.

Squats and Oats in general are GOAT
>mfw more people focus on the squats and never the oats
Eating a bunch of animal products for breakfast is unheard of for the vast majority of humanity, just based on expense.

Water.
Tasty luxuries are for later in the day.
Breakfast should be a manly, gritty. Puritanical. To steel you for the day ahead. Put fire in your belly. Water-cooked oats + a pinch of salt, nothing more.
Same with coffee. Morning coffee should be black like a heart-of-darkness African Queen. You can have a latte at lunch or in the evenings.
Having said that, proper oats cooked with water can still be quite creamy. Are you sure you're doing it right?
>good quality rolled oats, not instant quick pre-cooked bullshit
>100g + 500g cold water
>bring to boil from cold on high heat, stirring regularly
>then simmer on low heat for 5 mins, stirring occasionally
>'wa la'

I get what you're saying but i fail to see how adding not even 15 ml of milk can hinder your diet. I drink black coffee too but it's still strong even with milk. Matter of taste i think
I make this every morning for breakfast. I soak the oats overnight. I don't cook them. Is this safe? I'm 6'1" 170 lbs, trying to get to 200.
Bincher müsli is the best, oats, yogurt, fruits, mixed the day before for mushy greatness or at breakfast time for something more crunchy.
