I lifted heavy on Friday and ever since then I've had a ridiculous pounding headache. Anyone else ever experience something similar to this? Any idea what it could possibly be?

Yes, I have, and it sucked.
For me, it felt like I had the flu with head aches, body aches, and a fever. The only thing missing was the phlegm, because it wasn't actually the flu.

You'll see that a lot of people have experienced similar things.
A major factor seems to be dehydration.
I drink a lot more fluids now because of my experience with this miserable feeling.
Hope you feel better soon.

Drink more before and during workout, you're getting dehydrated

I would have said fatigue or dehydration but more than one day seems like it's something else. Get that shit checked breh

Yeah I usually get headaches after an intense workout if I don't drink enough water.
Dehydration also sometimes triggers migraines for me.

every once in a while, like once every two or three months, about half an hour after an intense workout my vision will start to go to shit (can't focus) and then i get a migraine for hours. can be stopped by as soon as my vision gets shitty laying down and shutting my eyes in a dark room.
if drinking your body weight in water doesn't work, stretch your neck and massage it

Dehydration since friday? Read a book
Exertion headache, go read.
Exertion headache is the culprit. Look it up and get some rest. I just got over one not long ago, had to skip workouts for like 2 weeks for it to go away. Shits no joke, do your research.
