Would sleep problems slow down my gains?
I basically sleep in 2-3 hour shifts interrupted by 20-30 minutes of wakefulness, almost every night. Will this prevent me from gaining muscle?
yes, stress and/or lack of rest contributes to body going into 'saving fat for danger' mode.

thanks anon
I'm just asking if it would take me like twice the time for gainz?
anyone else with sleep issues?
Lying awake and relaxed flat on your bed is a state of rest that promotes recovery (compared to sitting or standing), although to a somewhat lesser extent than sleep. Being awake after every sleep cycle is probably not too big a problem. A bigger problem would be waking from deep sleep - but if you sleep for several hours at a time this is probably not happening.

If you're in the us, check out Dr Kirk parsleys sleep cocktail. He developed it on navy seals who weren't sleeping enough to preform

i mostly wake up from dreams so I guess that would not be from deep sleep
still, I suppose this would slow my gains somewhat right?
I got PTSD and sleep issues too
Guaranteed to hinder gains
I have it under control now, I go to bed around 10pm and wake up at about 7 am.
I don't have work or school or anything, but it's good to follow a schedule, following a schedule helped me a lot more
