When I lift I eat more protein than usual but on rest days I eat an average/normal amount. Should I eat a high amount of protein everyday or continue my high/lift and regular/rest days protein eating ways?
Come on guys bump, I just realized this a QTDNDTOT thread but I made so help this pleb out plz.
bump :(
Ive actually heard you are supposed to eat more protein on rest days. Just a rumor I heard though I can't say for sure if that's the way to go.
Eat a lot everyday.
No wonder no one is fucking responding to you, didn't even post your diet or tell us how much protein you are eating on a rest / training day
You literally have to google "should i eat more protein on rest days" to get your answer but since you seem so retarded you cant do that ill help you out
Assuming you're eating around 1.2x bw (lb) in protein, you should continue eating the same amount of protein on rest days, because they are when you grow, unless you're eating absurd amounts or on a cut, then stay the same. You can limit your caloric intake if you're lean bulking on your rest days, but again, only if you're burning alot of calories on your training days.

80g on rest days and 100-120g on lifts days. I don't whey or anything, most of my protein comes from tuna, eggs, chicken and ground beef. I'm 158lbs, I don't think I can afford to eat my bodyweight in protein.

Eat 100g every day then and lift heavy and you'll be fine.

High amount every day provided you are lifting at least 3 times per week. Simple. Also QTDNDTOT.
