Does fish oil have any benefits when it comes to weight lifting?
>>38799353
Essentially no. It only aids in helping brain function and heart health. You also get quite a bit of omega-3's from eating vegetables and nuts. You really don't need to supplement them unless you are a vegetarian and are restricting calories.
It's a meme. Proven awhile ago only to benefit inuit because their body had become accustomed to a fish diet basically
Is it good for your joints?
>>38799230
Yes. It's not about eating more omega3, it's about eating LESS omega6. Adjust your diet accordingly and you'll get better benefits than supplementing.
>>38799230
No, it's an actual product you can buy.
I don't know if it's any good or not, but that's not what you asked.

Plenty of benefits from what I can read

I bet you crossed your arms and leaned back in your chair with a smug look on your face after posting that gem, right?

What a clever response. Real Dr.House of our day man.
if i have 3 tins (like 125g each) of mackerel a week would there be any point in omega sups
>>38800325
You're probably good. No need to supplement.
>>38799230
It is not. However if you're getting plenty of mono- and poly-unsaturated fats in your diet (fish, nuts, seeds etc) then you probably don't need them.
That being said I can't see how they would hurt if you take them anyway.
>>38799230
Of course not.
I'd prefer to eat real fish for dem protons, but nothing wrong with supplementing it if you don't eat much fish for whatever reason.
