You mean to say you actually have HSV?

If so, these could be (and likely are) ulcers induced by the HSV, but they're not the sores themselves.

The blistering sores are the cold-sores, which actually secrete the HSV virion.

Protip I hope you already know: HSV, syphilis and HPV don't give a shit if you wear a condom. If you have skin-to-infected-area (usually sores) contact you can transfer the disease to someone else, hence a condom won't save you when you're being ploughed by your boyfriend.
