What's /fit/s opinion on this routine? I'm going to be switching to it soon. What's the /red pill/regarding this?

Interested in hearing some responses as well.
Bump
Great for cardio/cutting, not as effective for building mass. PPL is still the GOAT.

I see a lot of people on fit pushing PPL. Is there a specific PPL program you're referring to or just the general scheme?

I'm assuming PPL = Push/Pull/Legs
I'd this is the case, why can't you use the PPL split with 8x8? What am I missing here?

Yea I know PPL means push pull legs. What in saying is when people rave about it on fit do they have a specific routine in mind? Like how many sets of which exercises? Or is it just the general concept of three days for three things.

PPL is just a split. I made my own PPL split and exercises based off what I think I need. You can do whatever, but I really like splitting everything into PPL instead of a chest/back, Arms/shoulders, legs. Or something along those lines.
Although my pull days seem to be the longest workout, if that ever becomes a problem, I'd just move some exercises to another day to shorten the pull workout.

WHy the fuck would you need an opinion on a routine from random fat people, who don't even lift?
Do it for a few months and have your own opinion.

here
I used this as a guide:http://www.exrx.net/WeightTraining/Instructions.html
As for working muscle groups 2x per week, I go by a 7 day cycle of when my last pull exercise was. I take rest days as needed
Example: two weeks I run a PPLPPxL/PPLxPPL (Monday-Sunday) I still end up getting 2 leg days in 7 days, along with 2 push days and 2 pull days. While I'm splitting the rest day to when I need it, i still end up reaching 2x/week training.
Who /chest tris, back bis, shoulders legs/ here?

Brosplit DYEL
>>38728300
done x2 per week =/= brosplit
>>38728284
basically a PPL except you moved shoulders from pull to legs.
>>38728332
I think it helps. I find that I can only go like 75% on shoulders if I've already done chest and vice versa
>>38728284
sounds shit. Also your anterior delts will probably be way overworked. do a proper routine
