Sup /fit/, my chucks I was using to lift finally gave out on me. Place where I work reimburses us for fitness purchases (except for protein :( ), so I thought it'd be time for some new, good shoes. Any suggestions? I primarily weight lift but do some moderate cardio for off days so I'd like something that's versatile

where do you work that gives fitness rebates
>>38724422
large, very well known tech company
New Balance Minimus

I got these at GE and pretty sure they didn't reimburse protein either

Cross training shoes is what you want to look at. Something along the lines of Reebok Nano's or Inov8 235's.
Sometimes they are marketed as crossfit shoes, but really they are just cross trainers. The 235s are my favourite ever shoe.

romelos or adipower
>>38724422
up to maximum that they'll reimburse tho
>>38724383
There is a correct answer and that's Romelos

I see romelos being labeled as powerlifting shoes, will they be suited for running as well?
What are good, really cheap and really flat shoes. I've just been using slippers for my squat and everything.
>>38724859
No. For running consider ultra boost or fly knit
>>38724859
No. the soles have are very hard and not suitable for running. Look up a YouTube video and you'll see what I mean
>>38724859
running is for faggot
>>38724865
chuck taylors, you can get them for like 30 bucks

Lifting and moderate intensity running have the opposite requirements for shoes. Running shoes suck big time for lifting, lifting shoes suck big time for running, and cross trainers are mediocre at both. Better to get separate pairs of shoes.

this
just get a pair of weightlifting shoes and a pair of running shoes dipshit

When the fuck did GE start reimbursing us for fitness purchases? Power and Capital (RIP in pieces) only did 50% of gym expenses up to 300 dollars if your site didn't have a gym in it.

I use some old ripped vans that used to be white but are now grey for when I deadlift
adidas powerlift 2 for when I squat(they cost me 62 euro and are really great)
it's the best you can get for the price
