jesus christ, whatever you do, don't do this >>38699509
specialize in something that'll lead to a career
don't just get a degree in "economics", get it in finance or accounting etc.
if you don't specialize in something you'll just end up in a miserable sales job out of college and hate your life
>>38699267
a science or business
I chose biology. I could have went toward nutrition, fitness, environmental, medical, anything really. I work for the gubmint now in a soil and water lab shits sweet
Kinesiology
My last 2 years of college consisted of exercise physiology, exercise nutrition, and shit like principles of strength and conditioning which basically just consisted of lifting. Pretty great, and theres no fat girls

What's wrong with declaring a major?
So if I were to get an engineering degree itd have to be one of the disciplines like civil?
Does it get more fine than that?
>>38699465
Just join the Navy and go nuke there. You'll get the same job when you get out. Granted, it'll take 2 years more to be free, but you'll have gotten paid for them
Wildlife resources or something like that so you can be a game warden or a park ranger or something cool and be outside all day
education is an investment. choose an interesting one that makes bank.

physiology could be neat too. kino is dumb desu

$80k fresh outta college? You could be retired in less than 10 years
>>38699697
How could you retire that fast?
>>38699742
>spend considerably less than you earn
>use the remainder to get debt free
>after paying denbts, invest in a low-fee, high-dividend index fund
>historically, they'll pay out about 7% a year
>assume a 3% loss due to inflation
>wait until you've saved 25x your yearly expenses
>congratulations, your dividends can now completely fund your lifestyle
Basic Mr. Money Mustache shit
