Hey guys, just popping in to say that my 65 year old father weighed 235 four and a half months ago. He's an ex alcoholic (sober 12 years now) but in his old age in the absence of all drugs and booze he turned to food as his addiction. It wasn't so much fast food as it was taking multiple shots of peanut butter a day and hitting up cheerios with heavy cream late at night.

He finally said fuck this shit and went on restrictive keto diet with regular weight lifting and exercise. He now weighs less than I do and I'm so proud of him (he's 180 and I'm pushing 190).

I've always wanted him to live long enough to see grandkids and now I think he's going to do it. He's a great man and I love him and I'm so happy.

This has also motivated me to get down to my 170 because I want to wear my fucking jeans again.
