Seeing how there are different plates
How much 1pl8?
>>38664382
15 kg
>>38664382
20 kg
1 / 2 / 3 / 4 plate means one on each side, so it's really 1 (2) / 2 (4) / 3 (6) / 4 (8)
total is:
1 pl = 40kg
2 pl = 80kg
3 pl = 120kg
4 pl = 160 kg
>>38664423
uh oh here we go again :P
>>38664423
>>38664423
Yeah except you forgot to count the bar in the totals
So 1 pl is 60kg, 2plate is 100kg, 3 plate is 140kg etc.
>>38664457
right, which is why calling it 1 / 2 plate etc is good because everyone understands regardless of counting bar or not.

One plate is one plate. You can't only say it's 1 / 2
>>38664457
>he counts the bar
nice ego faggotry exaggerating your lifts for the internet
>>38664382
Number of plates = n
Insert number of plates (n) in the equation below:
n*2*45 lbs + 45 lbs = TOTAL weight lifted
>>38664494
what are you chirping cunt, it means i lift one plate i lift two plate i lifted three plate, not i lifted one half plate
Obviously its 25kg
>>38664422
This

And an Olympic bar levitates without weight.
1pl = 60kg
2pl = 100kg
3pl = 140kg
4pl = 180kg
5pl = 220kg
Plates are so named because they're the most common weight for barbell. They're 20kg, same as an Olympic bar, and you'd always need one on each side.

>lbs
Die.
>>38664382
FFS
1pl8
>one 20kg plate on each side plus the 20kg bar = 20 + 20 + 20 = 60kg
>>38664494
GO AWAY TJ "HENRY" YOSHI!
hey guys quick question, when i do pull ups do i count the bar?
>>38665087
You should count the weight of your clothes and the water you drank that day
>>38665087
>>38665094
Have you guys heard the term 'dead joke' before?
>>38665087
>do I count the "bar" doing body weight exercises
Stupid meme.
Shut the fuck up and do weighted exercises wherever possible, weighted exercises opens lots of options. So yes, when comparing weighted to body weighted count your body weight plus whatever you have in a weighted vest or backpack.
BTW, 2pl dips here @60kg bw. Of course I prefer weighted.
>>38664382
I only have 25 lb standard 1" plates.
Can't wait to get that 270 lb 5 plate deadlift.
>>38665087
No, you count the earth. It is all relative to what you are moving. Duh.
Just stop talking about fucking plates and just say the fucking number instead. One of the reasons I left this board a while ago. I get so pissed when people talk about plates instead of jsut saying "I just benched 225" or "I just deadlifted 150kg" etc.
So fucking stupid, yes mad
