Tell me why
I don't wanna risk to go bald earlier so creatine is a no for me.
What supplements should I use instead? Right now I just take whey protein two times a day

Creatine doesn't cause it, just accelerate, so if your dad isn't bald, don't worry.

Thanx
So, I've been "lifting" for over 5 years, and (actually) lifting for like 3 and a half. Before about a year ago, my gains were pretty slow. I capped at around 215 lb bench and 275 squat, among other lifts. Then, I started supplementing creatine because my swolemate got some.
I made more gains in the last year than any of the others. I didn't change my routine, I just found that it was easier to get those last reps and get a good burn.
I'm currently repping 4x6 2pl8 bench and working towards 4x8. I tested my max back in May and got 285. My back squat max is 350 and I look better than ever.
I'm only one case but I fully attribute my surge in gains to the creatine.
Even on the (incredibly) low chance it wasn't the creatine, it certainly didn't do anything negative.
So it won't hurt you. Supplement it. See for yourself.

Are you retarded?

>n = 20
Even with a p<0.001 this means virtually nothing.
Maybe rugby influences DHT levels?
Or, less sarcastically, there could be something else that they are doing that is causing this correlation.
You have linked a poorly conducted experiment. Way too small of a sample size, little to no variation in participants..
Meme.

baldness is from the mother's father, not the father.

I got some creatine from mypr back at the beginning of august. took it consistently for 2 weeks. then my parents came back and now I have to sort of hide it....creatine is considered like steroids by ignorant people here, so I dont even want to have that discussion.
I didnt experience much of a surge in my progress, doesnt look like from my log, I'll give it another shot and take it more consistently
How much do you take? examine.com says 5g a day after a load week when you start. might go 10g for a while and see how it goes
>>38641337
You don't need to load. You aren't going to see results for one or two weeks, and loading isn't going to speed that up. It just wastes creatine.
I take roughly a heaping teaspoon plus a third of another.
>>38641394
I think I'm gonna go one little scoop in the morning and one in the evening. around 10g. I used to do one but trying cant hurt. worst case scenario I just piss the excess

Exactly. Good luck bro.
