Hi /fit/, overweight Asian fucktard from /g/ here. 78kg, 165cm. I'm trying to get started with some basic cardio to force myself to move everyday, then gradually move into strength. I have ample free time for this now that I'm awaiting graduation and currently unemployed. Is low intensity / LISS training a good place to start or high intensity / HIIT ? I've read the wiki and it's recommended but I don't want to get memed. Thanks. Goal is losing weight / to not feel like shit everyday . Have a pic related of my muse.

Its irrelevant which programme you pick to start with, focus more on diet and above all else CONSISTENCY, when you aren't fat, then start looking into which kind of programme will benefit you the most.

Is it really just as simple as eating X amount of calories per day and max protein? I've heard and went through some shit diets before. Also my weight has been pretty stable for the past two years or so.

Calories in, calories out. Protein is important to build/maintain muscle. Like the other anon said, get started on a program and do not quit. You should start lifting weights ASAP, that plus cardio will make the weight melt off you. Lift 3-4 times a week and do cardio almost every day to get the fat off, then readjust according to your desires, endurance, bodybuilding, strength etc.
Basically Calories in and out, lift and cardio, do not quit once you start. Always learn more, adjust your routine but never look back.

RIP knees. Focus on losing weight first by making eating properly second nature to you (eventually.) You can lose weight by doing nothing.
