Seriously, why do some Strongmen and powerlifters not even look that big, even when they are fairly lean. By that I mean not obviously overly fat.
Like this big Strongman from Norway. This guy is 6'5" 350 pounds, 400 OHP, 500 BP, 850 DL... picks up Giant Rocks, pulls buses and trucks...
Why does he not LOOK like he lifts? Or at least just looks like the regular gym rat who comes in does a few sets a bit of cardio and probably just eats whatever.
Where the fuck is all that 350 pounds? Obviously its there or the stuff they lift isn't gonna budge, but in photos these guys don't even look that built.
Then you see bodybuilders who weigh half as much who look 2x the size...
Where is the Beef on these fuckers hiding?
I see regular guys at the gym who look more built than pic related, he this guy is 350 pounds...

because that's how a body looks like when you train for strenght not when you train for muscle volume
same thing with boxers, you take a look at a welter weight fighter and the phisique is not that impressive. but those guys can fuck shit up with their fists for 40 mins straight
body builders train to look big, these guys do not
you've been watching too many movies where body builders are action heros. actual fighters and strongmen do not look like that
