Ignore the people telling you no.
Those things have held up my shower curtains just fine and have never injured me or damaged my bathroom

don't buy that. it ruins your doorframe and is not very sturdy. buy pic related instead. it doesn't leave any marks and could easily hold me at 98kg. not sure what the max limit is.

I have that, works like a charm but left some ugly black spots against the door where I put pressure on. Probably just depends on the brand.

Got the same one senpai. Works great and serves it purpose

I used what OP pic has and it worked fine for weeks, but as you get higher reps you start to attempting with shittier technique... as soon you wiggle it's a good fall.
got that in this anon's picture instead, worked flawlessly. easier to detach and doesn't block foorframe either.
What about ceiling mounted pullup bars?

It will fuck the paint/wood but if it's a good one it's safe.

my door frame is made of metal.
so yeah, i always check if it's tight and start pulling myself up. it's secure, easy but i wouldn't use it on anything wodden.
>>38594086
its screwed on, do you want to screw it in?
>>38594086
Probably the best way to do it, but it's impractical for someone looking to throw up a pull-up bar in the doorway of his apartment's bathroom. If you have your own home, then some sort of DIY solution using heavier screws and a ceiling/wall mount is the way to go.
