-you will never be at peak condition, but you will always be within 10% of your true max

-add back off triples slowly, weekly volume will build up faster than you expect

Sure. Don't repeat though, just hit a single.

After a cycle of that, take it higher on good days, or repeat a couple times at 80,%.

You can also add singles on DL day, 5x1@ 90%TM.

Lots of ways to do it, but don't let the strain fatigue you for your "big volume days".

I am officially done with regular programming (for the time being) and I am going to run spotoshot.

I was going to organize it the way you do iirc, with:

spoto, cgbp
shot
rest
spoto, cgbp
shot

but I was wondering how you do lower on it?

especially deadlifts?

Right now I am doing texas method and so I have a volume day, a RD, and an ID, but I want to just do two 5x5 or so squat VDs weekly and LP them by 5 lbs. So when do I do my heavy / PR deadlifts?

Thanks for any help you can give me, and let me know if I got anything wrong pls.

The only other things I really really like to do are SLDLs, and rows, and various prehab exercises (face pulls, curls sometimes, ghr, rverese hyper). Only the SLDLs and rows migjt be harder to program.

I do the CGBP on the slingshot days.

well the way I've been doing it, I've been doing squats on the slingshot days after slanger benching and before CGBP. I suppose I could do them on the spoto days to make them a bit more balances, but I like squatting on mondays, so that's how it worked out.
with the squats, I just started with a 5x5 at some pretty arbitrary weight, something that I knew I could smash pretty easily. just to kind of get used to the SSB, ja feel? if you were gonna do them with a normal bar, I think I would still suggest starting with a weight that you'll have no trouble with so you don't run into a wall after 2 weeks or something.

tBh I've only deadlifted like 2 or 3 times in the last month. something you could try is just doing them on a day that you're not squatting. I really haven't been feeling too fatigued at all, and I think if I didn't despise deadlifts so much, I would be able to fit them in if I really wanted. idk how I would program them. every time I've done them, I just spur of the moment decided to see how much I could grip and rip lel

at the same time as your heavy benches and squats. The way I'm kind of doing it is everything is getting based off how my bench is doing. what I mean is for right now, my squats have been high volume (minus the day this week where I just went for a heavy single for lolz), and my idea is to kind of "peak" them at the same time that my bench workouts will have to get down to like 5 sets of 1 the second time around (so after I've already reset and worked back up once). does that make sense?

yeah I do a lot of accessory nonsense after my main lifts. I think every day I do rows of some kind, some tricep extensions, and I'm gonna have twink remind me to do my good mornings. just don't make them super hard

The only thing I am struggling with is how to do pulling since I really like deadlifting and probably have a decent amount of LP left on my deadlift from week to week. anon have you never actually done 1rm attempts or something

but looks pretty decent to me man. just remember not to make your accessory work too hard. I made the mistake one time of doing tricep extensions to failure, and it screwed me over on my next bench workout just because of soreness lel.

with the close grip, I wouldn't go to RPE9. both SSB and I only do them until they start to get hard. I don't ever want to grind on those. ultimately up to you though. just remember that you're gonna be doing a ton of volume. you don't want to overdo it. remember you're going to be doing 20 sets per week to RPE 9 as it is with bench alone.

and for your starting weights for the bench stuff, pick something that you can hit for like 15 on every set ezpz. I think for my spoto workouts, it took like 3 or 4 workouts before I didn't do all 5 sets for 15 reps. same goes for the squats. start lower so you don't have to stop 4 weeks in, yaknow?

and idk how the deadlifting is going to affect you. I feel like I would be able to add it into what I'm doing fine, but I haven't actually tried so I may be wrong.
