With random shit i mean just do a ton of Pushups, Planks, Situps, Pullups, Curls, whatever. If you're fat get your diet in check first.

SS with some added arm isolations (to keep him interested) is probably the best. He's 15, so it's fine if he only uses 80 lbs for now, it's better that he focuses on form with light weights. And if after a few months he wants to keep doing it, then you can get him a gym membership or buy an actual quality barbell and a power rack.
