Is it normal to cough up blood after you work out heavily? I don't mean a lot and it only happens maybe once or twice a week. I'm kind of scared.

air can escape into your chest cavity. some people are born with blebs on their lungs which can rupture from heavy lifting etc. i had to get the air drained and pleurodesis because they kept recurring.
