I bought a fitbit scale. It's supposed to measure body fat percentage too, but then I read about how it can be inaccurate depending if your body holds fat mainly in the thighs (reading higher than reality) or hold fat mainly in the stomach area (reading lower than reality)

so yeah, those kind of scales all are inaccurate, but their supporters say it's about the trend, not accuracy. "even if it's wrong, as long as it goes down, you know you're doing good".

and the only truly accurate test is the kind you go to a clinic to do. The nearest one is $90 per visit. Damn it sucks to be poor.
