Either mine are shit or I'm using them wrong. They keep giving me results that hover around 15% but I'm pretty sure I have more body fat than that. I was wondering if anyone could take a look at me and tell me if maybe I'm actually I sing them correctly.
For background info, I used to be in really good shape and weigh in at 135 with 4% bf while I was a wrestler. Unfortunately we didn't use the calipers we used some fancy expensive scale that would check out bf so idk how accurate it was and I didn't learn to use the calipers.
I'm currently 160.4 lbs. With the Jackson/Pollock data tables I get about 18% bf (my tables measure that at 63mm). With the durnin/womersly tables using all four locations I get ~15% (I round up because I refuse to believe I have sub 14.7% body fat) with 33mm.
Could the results be scewed because I store all of my fat in my abdomen? So the data might be right but all of that weight is just in one spot making me look like I have a higher bf% than I really do?

So how do I use those calipers correctly? I haven't had anyone else doing then so I've had to do it myself, so maybe that's the problem, like the way I have to twist to be able to measure and read with them causes the results to be fucked?

don't even bother trying to measure shit. Just eat heaps clean, drink a lot of water, and do a lot of volume in the gym. Use the mirror as a guide not the scale
