70 bucks for a barbel set? that seems really cheap
>>38468737
stuff must be shit if its only $70
>>38468737
That seems like a good deal desu
>>38468737
No you shouldn't unless there isn't a gym nearby.
You're much better off paying monthly for a gym membership if it's under $50/mo.
I vote yes. That is hella better than nothing at all.
don't buy one of those shitty bars with a 1 inch collar

I spent $1000 on my home gym. Gym membership in my area is $49 a month. $49 x 12 = $588. After two years it's paid for itself and I don't have to deal with a bunch of faggots.
even 7 months of planet fitness would be a better buy op
go on craigslist that sell used weights, i buy it at 10 cents a lb

Only get it if it's Olympic size. Had a similar one. Once you get to around 100kg have to sell and get an Olympic set anyway coz itll start to bend.

You'll outgrow the amount of weight a standard bar will hold almost immediately. Buy a cheap oly bar and even if you have to wait another month for weights it's better in the long term.

I guess so. I'll buy my own homegym when I get my own place.
Live on campus rn.
>>38468889
Reasonable. I remember lifting on campus. I bought a house this past year and when I looked I always looked for one with space for a home gym. It's worth it anon. Holy fuck is it worth it. I want you all to have this.

This homegym masterrace. You don't have to burn yourself out trying to cram gym time into your schedule
>>38468980
Yep. This morning I took too much time between sets because I was picking up around the house. Went to work, when I got home I finished my workout and then mowed the lawn.
