my bulk was going good until i realised how much fat ive put on. so i started cutting.
2nd day into the cut and im already loosing strength. just so you're sure - i'm not crash dieting (~500kcal deficit, 20 minutes of cardio every second day, balanced no-meme diet).
my genes ain't good for bodybuilding but i just want to look good and i cant make any progress, ive been really lean once (~%) but ive lost all my muscle in the process and my only imressive bodypart was core...
any advice?

People cutting after notice "fat gains" are the same that continue looking like DYELS.
Eat big, lift heavy, and keep it up. Don't cut.
don't cut, keep lifting and eating, do a little cardio
Just ride the bulk train for a while then DNP down

what's your bf as of right now op?

Literally just don't cut. Keep bulking. The first time I bulked I felt skinnyfat so I did a cut. Total waste of time.

my bf is about 20%. i don't want to bulk because i am also short (5'7) and i look pathetic at this level. people started noticing i am getting fat, this ain't just my brain

thats what im doing sir
i knew i was getting fat but i guess i liked the strength gains? dunno i just overbulked
you sure you arent just imagining losing strength?
Im pretty sure it's just that self-talk that makes it so.
I never lose strength on a cut, especially not on -500kcals. that's nothing...
All cutting does for me is FEEL shitty, but not once did I lose significant amount of strength.
yeah sure, professional bodybuilder/powerlifters will lose strength, but c'mon, you sound like you are barely out of dyel.

b/c I am, in fact, just out of dyel. the thing is its really hard for me to build muscle and hold onto it, i have probably the worst genes imaginable. i started benching 40kg x 5 2 years ago and now i can only do 80 kg x 8. I am sleeping, i eat balanced diet and count macros, i dont drink alcohol or smoke but when i go to the gym and try to progress i often fail or even regress in my lifts (even in caloric surplus)
