Guys, I need some help. Why do these homeless chicken breasts have so few calories? Normally a half-pound of chicken has close to 600 kcal, right? Am I missing something here? My food journal, had been logging my,caloric intake at 600 for a half pound of these, and upon reading the nutrition label, it would appear that I'm only getting 220. But that dissonance is too significant for me to accept easily. What am I missing here? Please help.

Always wondered about that. Is nutritional information usually based on raw or cooked? If raw, why bother? Who eats raw meat?
pls respond, looking for answers. Is it because it's skinless?

The am0ount of fat in chicken breast varies widely.

The chicken OP posted is very lean. It's had almost all the fat removed. Other chicken breast has 40%+ of it's calories from fat.
