Yo so my resting heart rate is usually around 68-70. For the past few days, it's been really low. I just checked my fitbit and it's 58 currently. I got quite scared about it so I went into my hospital who did an ECG on me and said although the heart rate is abnormal (especially since I'm pretty big) the ECG is fine so unless I pass out there's nothing they can do. When they did the test it was 62 and now it's back down to 58 where it was before. It just seems to be fluttering around, I just checked again and it's back up to 74. I'm getting pretty anxious about it and I've been feeling light headed. What should I do?

i don't know what you mean by that, but i shouldn't worry about it then?
Its normal you fucking idiot. Stop bugging the health workers.

I'm assuming you live in a country with national health?
fuck you, we all paid for your trip you moron

nigga it was just an ECG, i walked in so no ambulance costs. don't worry, i pay my taxes too
My resting HR is in the low 40s, sometimes in the high 30s
I bike a lot
Do you run or do a considerable amount of cardio?
I guess weight training could improve stroke volume a bit, 58 is not very slow
most people who aren't fat shits when they start doing endurance sports will see low 50s resting HR after about 6 months

my HR used to be low 50s/high 40s but I've been in engineering school for past 4 years with no exercise, so heart rate shot up to 68-70 where it's at now. recently graduated so for the past month I've started doing sports again and walking ~5 miles every day. just shocked to see such a big drop that quickly.

Your low heart rate is very dangerous. Possibly even fatal. You need to stock up on cocaine and take it religiously every two hours or you will suffer serious consequences. Doctors won't tell you this because they want cocaine banned because heart replacements and pacemakers are way more profitable and they would rather let your health go to shit than suggest a natural fix.

Guess what, OP? My morning resting heart rate may be as low as 40bpm!
When you are actually FIT your heart is more efficient and moves more blood per pump so it beats slower. Ignore the doctors they're idiots.

Fitbits are not accurate.
