Early in the morning, before the sun has fully risen, I get out of bed and splash cold water on my face and trim my beard.
While the house is still dark I walk downstairs, quiet enough to not wake the wife and kids, and I go to down to the basement wearing just shorts and chucks.
I turn on the loud speaker and play this song:

I then slide the bar out of the rack, lats glued to the bench

TM is a garbage program for people that don't know how to program for themselves or really understand the nuances of training.

Its a micro over-reach and peaking cycle. So instead of benefiting from weeks to months of hypertrophy/volume tapering into strength realization, you get one day a week.

they ARE strong enough to launch the barbell up to their belly button or higher though, and since strongmen usually have a large stomach, it makes a pretty nice shelf you can set the bar onto. Once you get it onto that shelf (which is made even better when using a belt), you can "pop" the weight up again to get under it without having to dive all the way under to catch it.

It's usually used for axles. You can't clean an axle unless its really, really light. The grip just isn't there and its a monster to turn over for the rack because the sleeves don't rotate.

Even if you can clean it, the continental is generally a stronger movement. Slower though, which matters for rep events.
