I think what messed me up the most was increasing my maxes. The day wouldn't be so bad with the previous maxes, which were around 5-10% lighter than what I'm currently using.
But the ridiculous volume + new maxes made it hell.
I think sheiko, when he programmed this, he expected the lifter to keep using the same maxes from the start. So when this day comes he would be stronger and the prescribed percentages would actually be of lower RPE than they were at the start.
In any case, I'm done with it. I can't wait to die on the next work-out, he expects me to do 4x2 with 90% on the deadlift from boxes + 5x3 with 80% deadlift... oh god please no...

How far down to cut plg? 193cm, thinking around 105 kg should be a fine medium between fat and "ripped" so that I can maintain muscle mass just fine but don't suffer from being obese.

I eat around an hour before, and I eat about 1000 calories of oats and peanut butter and I'm fine. So an hour before is probably your best bet I guess.
Don't get too use to resting, a lot of the times you'll feel like you can't do the nest set when you really are capable. Taking less rest time makes you better at resting less.
Kirill sareychev for example, benches 200-300kf in training and never rests for more than 2-3 minutes
3 minutes is my max too, but maybe not for squats tbH

How many sheiko days did you do? The first week is usually high volume as it assumes you're recovered, so none of those days were wasted.

Yeah, I did need a rest after SS to be honest. Week before I was trying for deadlift maxes and I was pretty burnt out when it came to the first session of Sheiko. I'm doing the three day one with mobility work on my days off.

Fair enough, I've recently found a new love for static stretching for muscle tightness so mobility work is on the menu for me too.
Best just get this cycle complete so you're prepared for 3 day large load. Definitely will be fun, I promise. Squat days are hell but the bench volume makes up for it.
Also I saw you asking about good mornings whenever that was and is advise you'd go light, like with the bar at first.
They are quite dangerous and they're for stretching more than anything.
The Olympic girls doing pancake good mornings (google it) only ever use 30-40kg
