You do a 5x5 until you fail a few sets and deload, then you do a 3x5. For most lifters you'll be doing 3x5 before 2 pl8. If you can't 5x5 sub 225 then you need to put .50 cal of volume into your temple.

It's literally 5x5 of baby weight. You only do 10lbs on deadlifts and you stop at 2pl8. You have to be weak as fuck if you can't 5x5 the beginner weight. You have to be pathetic as fuck if you can't recover from the beginner weight. You don't know the routine, you are weak.

Are you doing alternating lat raises and then more lat raises? Why?
While this looks like an ''arm day'' you should always start with a compound exercise, so I'd start with chin ups and close grip bench

If you want to improve your squat/diddy, add accessories and its fine for a beginner. Switch to something else once you hit 1.25-1.5x BW on your squat. Hmm, it'll probably get better once you are finished with your cut. You might not be getting enough protein, but even then, it is sometimes hard to go up in a cut. You might want to try putting in some days where you focus on volume/endurance lifting for the bench press, maybe even try out german volume training, just in case that's where the issue comes from.

Dips and pull ups are always good add ons, especially because pull ups give you some much needed back training that Strong Lifts is sometimes a little light on.

Generally, I just make sure I am getting enough protein, and the right amount of calories. Also, I try to eat food that makes me full, so I am less hungry for more, at least when cutting. More specific diets that are either completely drop carbs or completely drop fat follow the logic that the body will have to work more to use the macros you do eat in replacement of the one you do not, thus bringing metabolism up. There might be some validity to this, but caloric deficit is king.
