It's not like everyone can just decided to arch harder and bam, they add 30lbs to their bench. It's a skill in itself.
Powerlifting IS NOT about being the strongest, it's about moving the most weight.

So it seems that I have some genetically passed on knee condition that makes my patella grind against my knee joint with too much force, thus wearing off on the backside and eventually hurting (retropatella athrosia).

So, I can't squat. Now, I really wonder what I do now.
I am thinking of still doing strength training, but in a way that it might help me with some other type of physical activity - maybe some martial art.

I guess back work is always beneficial, so trying to progress weighted pull-ups and also some rows would be something I'd like to do.

I am not sure if I can deadlift with the knees, but I will try and see how they feel. I guess deadlifting would also be beneficial to overall physical performance.

Benching is what makes me think. I think benching isn't really beneficial to anything. If anything it's taxing to the shoulder and makes you run into shoulder mobility issues, right? Maybe OHP would be better?

Anything else? I just really want to keep lifting some heavy stuff / keeping the entire idea of strength training.
But competing in PL with shitty knees is senseless.

If you already have jacked up knees, you probably want to be careful about taking up martial arts. In terms of how much it beats you up, lifting weights tends to be on the less damaging side compared to most sports.

It's just that if I keep putting them under the pressure of squatting that they will be fucked up pretty fast, faster than they do user healthy circumstances anyways.

If you don't train for powerlifting competitions, I don't see any reason to do the bench press. If you want chest development, a combination of dumbbell bench, flyes, dips and push-ups is more than enough and considering the longer range of motion (specifically, bigger stretch in the bottom), DB bench would be superior to barbell.

You can still do PL, as long as you find a compromise to squat relatively injury free, even if it's by sacrificing some weight, you still have the bench press and deadlift to specialise in. There are also fun push and pull meets you can attend.
But you probably fans still squat regardless if you listen to your body.

See a sports phsio and get a professional opinion. A real sports phsio will understand and help to find ways for you to continue without giving up your sport.

Guys, I'm looking at Sheiko, and one thing that has me puzzled is the weight percentages on assistance exercises.
I downloaded the app, and it says to hit chest muscles with 60 % of my best effort bench for 6x4.
Looking at the exercise list, I'm thinking it refers to flyes, but apart from it being an exercise I do not do very often, it seems absurdly heavy.
Same thing with goodmornings - I'm supposed to do them at 3/4 of my best effort deadlift, and I can't help but think that this seems like a nice way to blow my back out.

How did you guys approach this problem? I couldn't easily find any real information about this.

Ignore the percentages for the assistance lifts, and don't do flyes for sets of four. Pick an exercise that works your "chest muscles" that you can go fairly heavy on safely.
