Hey /fit, I want to get rid of my hourglass figure as fast as possible. I know its genetic but there must be ways to help it. Pic related, its me after a month of working out. This means a lot to me since it has made me extremely self conscious for years, so any input is appreciated. I will do any form of exercise to help this, whether it be upper back or core.

not sure about obliques but pull ups, cable rows, bent over rows, barbell rows, lat pulldown
youre really over thinking things
find an exercise you like that works your lats, perform it in the hypertrophy range (3x8, 4x12, etc, whatever floats your boat). eat. sleep. rinse and repeat.

Don't aim specifically for anything right now.
You are in dyel mode and you should do all the important lifts until your body will start filling in.
BUT, if you're really desperate about it, then prioritorise L-sits, deadlifts, planks and side planks (along with side dips during the side planks).
Suitcase carries are good for obliques.
Grab something heavy with one hand and walk with it while keeping your torso vertical.
