Hello fit I come in need of your infinite wisdom.
I am trying to learn to do the muscle up, I'm doing many pull ups, dips and I train my lats.
However a certain degree of explosiveness is needed to perform the muscle up and sadly I do not have this.
Are there any ways to train this? Should I just be doing my pull ups as quick as possible?
Any help would be apreciated.
Thanks :)

They are pretty easy to do. The explosive ones are even easier.
All you have to do is learn how to false grip.
I wouldnt use these in a workout routine besides maybe as a warm up.

Yes, you should be doing your pullups as fast as possible (at least on the concentric) when you're training for a muscle-up. Unless you're a world class gymnast using rings you're not going to be able to perform a slow muscle up no matter how strong you are.

Weighted-pull ups. You want to be able to do a pull up with atleast +30% bodyweight
High/explosive pull ups (youtube them) get your mid chest to bar.
Negative muscle ups (jump above the bar and lower yourself down as slow as possible)
Just stay consistent. Train these exercises 2-3 times a week you'll get a myscle in 1-3 months depending on your progress and current strength
