I'm actually Polish and sauerkraut made this way, kefir and red borscht are very well known.

I was at the store today looking at a good Kefir brand to buy. Since I'm from the US, all I could find was sugar-laden Kefir drinks. 20grams per serving. Holy shit. I guess I need to visit obscure health stores to find other brands that don't load this drink with so much sugar.

I understand, I;d be fine with 10g a serving, but all I can find is very sweetly flavored ones with added sugar, flavors, and artificial sweeteners. I don't care about sweet. I just want healthy!
