Will this be ok as a beginner rack?
I would upgrade when lifting 100kg at the latest.
Will this be ok for a beginner?
The next step is 200 or so more
>>
Don't cheap out if you're gonna buy a new one soon. Especially since it won't take you long to get a 100kg squat.

100kg is no way enough.

It has a 200kg rating.
My main question is how accurate are these ratings usually?
Like is it 200kg being used normally or 200kg is the breaking point?
And if so does that mean the frame and pins will bend at say 150-180.

Sorry for the probably very obvious questions

Id guess the breaking point is higher and they say its lower for legal safety.

That's what im thinking.

Hijacking this thread.

Recommend me a good power rack and bemch combo pls. I had one saved on my old pc and never found it again.

Doesn't need to be cheap, just a good rack that doesn't have any problems and that isn't $10k. Comfortable bench that's got some adjustments maybe. What kind of bar and weights do you all suggest? Haven't ever had my own weights really and only lifted randomly with friends. Only at a plate bench and a bit over that in squat so yeah I'm shit and need your alls help to get gud.

Thanks in advance.

I'd say a good place to look is CL.

I got a squat rack new in box for $200. 500lb rating.
4'x6' 3/4in rubber flooring for $29 each
300lb weights with O bar $300
Dip rings $40

This was my initial buy and I've since purchased a few more things, but this got me started in a good direction on the cheap.

I have squat stands that have a rating of 150kg, I've been lifting 130kg off them with no problem.
