I can bench 2 pl8 x5, but only squat 1pl8 x5.
When I squat, I get pretty bad pains in my interior left hip for days after. I'm fully able to go ass to grass without discomfort, but my left knee tends to want to drift right. I also find my feet pointing further outwards after a rep. I've been convinced that I just have a minor form issue that's been holding me back for 6 years, but I'm not sure anymore. I've been told my form looks fine by gym bros and trainers, but too bad I don't have a video on my phone.

Haha all joking aside, I've got serious tension in my heels and can't get ass to grass and maintain my balance on free weight, So I tend to use the smith to isolate my glutes and get enough depth. Works for me.
