How many times do you piss everyday?

Before I lifted, I would only piss like 3-4 times a day.

Since I've been lifting for the last few years, I've noticed that I piss often, probably like 10 times a day. Then again I drink A LOT more water now.

Is this normal?
>>
You should probably get yourself checked out if you urinate that often.
While I've upped my water intake since starting lifting, my pissing hasn't gone up, since a lot comes out with sweat instead now.
>>
There is something wrong, see a doctor asap. If you drink more water, you should only piss once a day. If you drink over a gallon a day you should never have to piss again.

Hear me out I've got a crazy theory.
>the more you drink the more you piss
>>
When I am cutting, I drink a lot of liquids, end up pissing very often.

Is this bad for my kidneys? Maybe I should tone down on the water intake during cuts.

this

drink more water =/= piss more

Do you have any studies to back that claim up?

PISSING IS NOT AS SIMPLE AS LIQUID IN = LIQUID OUT YOU PISS SHAMING SHITLORDS
>>
The more you drink the more you pee. Peeing often means your kidneys are properly regulating the amount of water in your body.

I poop about 4-5 times a day. Pee 6 or 7. Sue me.

Not necessarily. Somebody just finished physio 101

Medfag here. Imagine water regulation in your body like a bank account.

Income = H20 intake
Expenses= H20 loss
Account management fees = extrarenal loss of water (sweating, diarrhea, etc...)

What matters isn't the actual amount of money circulating, but the actual balance. After all, more drinking = more pissing, if everything is alright.

More water means a disturbance in blood osmolarity, and your body isn't stupid, so it tries to stay in homeostasis.

What should concern you is water along with your electrolytes. Get your blood and urine checked for "Free Water Clearance" . Your urine is usually plasmaisotonic ( ie it has the same amount of osmotically active particles as your blood plasma), and free water is water filtered by the kidney that makes it less isotonic.
Meaning your body puts out more water than it actually needs.

If free water clearance positive = you pee out more water than actually necessary - body loses water, most likely will try to compensate by drinking more.

Negative free water clearance = body can't put out enough water, water gets stored, you gain weight, get edema. Balance is positive, you retain.

Alternatively, if you experience other symptoms like difficulty/pain while peeing and changes in amounts peed, you might have a bacterial infection of your urogenital tract.

Tl dr; see a doctor if concerned.
