This is the only thing that is bothering me. I've only been to this gym a few times, would be a weird way to start...

This girl was deadlifting 1.5 plate and squatting 1 plate. I'd estimate she is about 5'6" 115-125lbs. Not a gainz goblin at all, and the fact that she was doing those lifts is pretty much the first thing I noticed about her, until I saw her goddamn pristine 10/10 rear-end.

I was squatting 3.5 pl8 and she was mirin'. I just felt the vibe, like she stayed after her workout last night to sit on the massage chairs and she was looking at her phone, but I turned around after a set and she was pretty much staring at me. As far as approaching just talk to her like you would any other guy. Compliment her on an impressive set, ask her what her max is, introduce yourself and tell her you're new to town and literally just get her talking about herself (people love to do that shit and they never get tired of it). Keep it short and sweet like you would a gym buddy because you are both there for a reason. Then gauge your conversation and go from there (ie - if the irons hot then strike or if it needs a little more work just pick it up another time since its not like you won't see her again)

UPDATE TIME!

I did it brehs. She was done her workout, about to go sit on the massage chairs. She had her earbuds out, and the chairs are right next to the water fountain. So I went up and just started talking to her.

Turns out, she is a student on a summer internship, so she will be leaving at the end of summer. Like me, she just moved here and doesn't really know anybody. We chatted for about 5 minutes, and something really cool happened.... This city is roughly 85% english and 15% french. I heard a subtle accent, and asked her in french if she was french (obviously). I'm a frog myself, and she was visibly happy with the fact that I was french.

She said something along the lines of

So after taking the posts here in consideration, I didn't push the issue. Decided that was enough for a day, didn't introduce myself or ask her name or number. It was good progress for first impressions. She trains everyday around the same time I train, so I think I'll make a move tomorrow and ask her if she's busy over the weekend.
