I worked 9-5s for a few years after university, it was boring af and I couldn't shake the (self-entitled) idea that I was a special snowflake.

I started painting on the side at the end of 2015 and by March/Apr I was making the same as my current job in marketing. Decided to go full time painting.

Money is OK but not exceptional right now (£1,500p/m typically, northern UK), however I have plans to keep expanding and growing through different avenues. Helps I live with my parents rn until I feel established enough to cope with rents etc.

I'm a nurse at a nursing home. Not a standard long term ward but more of an intermediate type. Pitstop between the hospital and rest of the municipality and public health care. Also, half the ward is dedicated to emergency care patients that are referred from either a primary care physician or the local emergency room. Spend a lot of my day organizing between the different branches of our public health system with a shitty computer program that is not good for that at all. I don't spend enough time with the patients to be desu.

Paramedics should know of all people that ambulance services wouldn't function without skilled EMTs. Unskilled is a whole other story, but you can't make a statement as broad as all EMTs are useless. It's unfortunate you had to deal with only shitty ones, but that's just personal experience.
