I was given a trx set, tried to look up some exercises, but most of them looked stupid af.
Is trx any good? What could it be useful for?

I'll admit it's not the best for leg gains but everything else is pretty solid. Those one legged squats are a fucking cunt to do. But it will help your balance and form.
Don't forget if you do bodyweight it increases strenght in lieu of gaining mass. But what I do is work in one day of body weight training during the week, it translates to helping me hit bigger weights. My DB flat bench went up from 80lbs to 105's in two weeks.

I did a TRX class once on a cruise ship. The seas were a bit rough which caused the ship to rock a bit. And I was drunk on top of that. Good times.
Basically it's just a different way to do bodyweight exercises. I don't know that I'd say it's better or worse, just a change of pace.
