just a little advice, plan your rest days if you don't already

instead of 'I'll take a rest day when I feel like it' and hoping you won't use it too much, have dedicated rest days 1/2 days a week instead.

Nobody trains like that... you're either exceptionally gifted or more likely just going through the motions and haven't made any gains for years.

You need rest days or else you just are in (catabolic?) state constantly. Rebuild go in stronger. You'll adapt but it's actually your body smartly learning how to expend less energy and reduce effort so to speak to accomplish the same thing.

started lifting about 3 months ago, you tell me.

no steroids obv. i hit every bodypart every 2-3 days, making sure to give the individual muscles 2-3 days of rest. i figure rest days are redundant if i'm not hitting the same muscles every day.

my broscience is that because lifting increases test levels, lifting daily will maximize gains. if something is still sore when it's time to work it, i'll push it into the next day, but i always work something. you'll have to tell me if you think that makes sense.
