I have a protein powder that is contaminated with salmonella. I know because I got sick when I had it and the company issued a statement about it. I was wondering if instead of throwing it away I could bake it into brownies or something. Wouldn't 350 degrees fahrenheit kill the bacteria and be safe?

Are you really poor enough that you can't afford to throw it away and just be safe?
>>37914451
Is my financial status relevant? Why would I throw away hundreds of grams of protein for no reason?
Just throw it away bro.
Salmonella can turn you blind, better not risk any shit.

I dunno, maybe because it has fucking SALMONELLA?!
>>37914544
So does a lot of raw food.
>>37914536
Yea I think I will what a waste.

>for no reason

... the thing you consume for health, you'll consume to only lose health/even more money for medical. Not worth it. Bitch at the company for a refund.
You fucking idiot, OP. If the company warned customers, they would just as likely replace the bad powder with good. Return it for a new one, dummy.

If you've already gotten sick then you're 'vaccinated' against it now.
Eat it up.

Can confirm. 3rd year pre med

>bacteria
It's yeast. But besides that, why take the risk? You can't be that desperate to save on cash...
>>37914422
Well it works with eggs, so yeah, go for it.
If you get salmonella again because of it, then at least you can shift the blame to my stupid ass.
>>37914824
Heat kills 99.9% bacteria bro.

Clearly not a bacterium
