Is there much difference in terms of effectiveness between non-spiked/ridged foam rollers and he typically smoother ones? Have a smooth one and wondering if it is worth getting a spiked one.

Non-spiked is for bitches

make your own or buy a lacrosse ball.
either one won't soften over time and will be way cheaper

Just get a lacrosse ball.
$3 in a store, lasts forever and can fit in ur gym bag to take to the gym or whatever

Since rollers are bigger you can hit your legs and other big areas quicker. Worth the small price imo. Lacrosse balls are good for hard to reach/smaller areas.

I feel better after using the smooth version. And better as in more limber/muscles rolled out.

Just get a fat ass length of pvc
I just use one of these

Sometimes you want spikes. Sometimes you don't.
Spikes can get really deep into certain spots.
Smooth ones can really help run over a knot.

This.
I prefer spikes for legs and solid PVC for when I really need to fuck my shit up.

Do you put anything around PVC?

Yoga mat. Sticky has diy foam rollers
>>37904861
Nah i dont, just avoid bone
>>37904861
Bare PVC for real men. Yoga mat bullshit for little girls.

this. I have a roller and a ball.
Roller is great for Legs and Back but the Ball is so good for shoulders, neck arms etc.
worth the little investment imo
