Vapor
Or in boiling water if I'm in a hurry
Steamed for 3-5 minutes in my rice cooker.
Pic related.

1, Toss with olive oil, I do 1 Tbsp for 6oz.
2. Add garlic salt or just garlic powder. (I've had problems with getting the garlic to stick to the broccoli and then it sits in the pan and burns)
3. Put in oven safe dish
4. Put in oven at 425 for 10-20 depending on what you like. I usually go between 15-20 mins. I like it at just about the time some char will appear. Almost like it was on the grill.
Usually cook a chicken breast at the same time. 3 mins a side on the burner. Another 3 mins a side in the oven with the broccoli.

I don't
Put in a shallow pot of salted water, cover, bring to the boil then turn down the heat and let simmer for a few minutes. Test with a fork once in a while to get a tender but al dente texture.

This. Roasting gives it more flavor AND keeps more nutrients in the broccoli than boiling/steaming
> put cup of frozen brocoli in measuring cup
> add lil bit o water
> put a plate on top to act as a lid
> throw in microwave for 2 minutes
> drain it
> eat
Any other way is trying too hard or you have too much time on your hands
Raw.
Not a huge fan of cooked vegetables.

same breh. vegetables are more nutritious when raw anyway

>roasting more efficient than steaming
What?
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2722699/
>Chlorophyll content of broccoli untreated and broccoli cooked under different conditions is presented in Fig.Fig.1.1. The chlorophyll content in boiled, stir-fried/boiled, stir-fried, and microwaved broccoli was reduced by 27%, 23%, 18%, and 16%, respectively (P<0.05), while it was almost unchanged in steamed broccoli.

If you toss them with olive oil before eating for fat solubility, steaming is the most effective method for retaining nutrients, and it only takes a few minutes.

> chlorophyll
If I remember correctly from biology, plants have a lot of enzymes in them that our bodies don't and can't digest and I swear chlorophyll was one of them. Could be wrong tho
Bake it with some lemon juice sprinkled on.
Served with shredded parmesan cheese on top.

This guy gets it. Steamed is the way to go.
I just eat it right off the plant
