Anyone know roughly how long it would take to grow ponytail length hair from a baldy? I've always hated my hair and want to try something different

Any long hair curly bros got any tips on maintenance? Currently dont do anything special with mine, but people say its fantastic. I just wash it with cheap shampoo every 3 or 4 days.

get a good dryer
if you still look like shit get a straightener but apply water after then dryer so you won't look like zyzz
apply a bit of wax and dryer to get a proper hairdo

I also have curly unmanageable hair. Generally if I just put my head in the shower and comb it down it is just as good as if I showered, and only takes about 45 seconds.

Because my hair is too unshapely for it to look good any other way than tied up. I know I need to get a cut. My last one was in November, but I have no clue how to get anything I want. Even when I take in pics showing the cut I want and actual salon settings, I still can't get shit right.
