I do makes shakes with it. You really taste it in the shakes. My recipe is:
>1 cup Almond Milk (unsweetened)
>1 scoop natty vegan proton powder
>1 banana (frozen)
>3 cups of spinach
>1 heaping cup of frozen berry mix
>3 tbsp hemp seed

Tastes great imo. I've been drinking it almost every morning for a little under a year.

Plant based protein is grouping different plants to make protein pairings, which are yes inferior to meat or dairy based protein, but still effective.
The problem is if you take an entire scoop of pure whey and pure plant protein. You're getting a lot less protein in the plant one and it cost more money.

There are tons of vegan protein supplements, but no one in their right mind would use them when you can buy a tub of whey protein for next to nothing and get more out of it.

Alright that makes sense. I don't mind paying more for less though as long as it's still effective and coincides with my values.

Personally I use a 50% soy, 35% pea, and 15% rice custom protein mix from True Nutrition. Soy is also fairly high in leucine which is cool.
