Weigh yourself
Determine how much you need to eat to lose weight (by reading the OP)
Track your progress (this is important)
If you are losing weight in 1 month, great keep going
If you aren't/you stop losing weight, you gotta start cutting more. Eat less/adjust your caloric intake to your new weight.

You can do it anon!

Oh, and lift 3 days a week. But weight loss comes in the kitchen more than the squat rack.
